Moot Hall
I thought I'd set myself a challenge today to take a photo using just a prime lens. I had to go fishing through various camera bags and turned up a 50mm - not perfect for an APS-C format camera, but thought I'd give it a go.
This is one of the pics I took - it is called The Moot Hall which was originally built in 1490. In those days it was called Mannings Farmhouse, and was situated at Hawstead, near Bury St.Edmunds in Suffolk. Now it overlooks the North Sea, having been dismantled in 1911 and transported by horse and cart the 50 miles or so to it's present resting place before being rebuilt. It is a Grade II listed building and has recently been refurbished to an excellent standard.
