Ticking Away the Moments

Paris streets

We had planned to do some more sightseeing this morning before catching the 14.13 Eurostar back to London - but after a late night drowning our rugby sorrows, and a very poor night's sleep in a very hot hotel, we decided that a lie-in followed by a leisurely petit dejuner was the order of the day.

Found a lovely little place round the corner from the hotel and had a life saving breakfast - how can Paris provide such delicious food on every corner, especially the baguettes and pastries?

Took a couple of quick photos of the buildings opposite the cafe, I love these tall old buildings with the ornate wrought iron balconies - very French.

Eventually got back home at about 6 pm, both of us exhausted - can't wait to go again though, so much more to see/eat!

Back blip from yesterday is here and some more Paris photos are here.
