Family reunion/70th birthday party

Tomorrow is my dad's 70th birthday and to celebrate he organised a party with all the family invited to a 3 course meal at the Greenhous Meadow Stadium. The food was beautiful, service a bit slow at times, company great and the entertainment brilliant. We had a tour of the stadium, a couple of quizzes, which my dad had made up, and an hour's hire of the astroturf footy pitch for all the menfolk (and any others) to run off a bit of steam.

The picture I've chosen was taken at the party but it's not my dad but my father in law whose 80th birthday was yesterday! Next to him is my eldest son who made a Bernie Ecclestone mask as my children think that they are twins - Bernie and Graham that is!! I'll backblip yesterday's party that I went to that was not actually my father-in-law's birthday party but his sister-in-law's 70th birthday party!!!! Confused yet?

We've had one of those weekends where there have been two 70th birthdays and one 80th. I'll blip my dad tomorrow on his birthday as we're going out again :-) Oh in one and a half week's time it's my dad's sister-in-law's 70th birthday too! There must be something in the air at the moment.
