Saucy Handles

This, believe it or not, is our Victorian brass sash window handles luxuriating in a bath of HP sauce. It brings them up lovely.

We saved the handles and locks from our recently departed windows. I am glad we managed to keep something from them. I felt a bit guilty about their demise following over one hundred years service. That said, I don't miss the rattling or the freezing drafts.
