Perseverance!

Today the sun was shining and we had beautiful blue skies. We decided to head for the Peak District for a wander and of course I took the camera and tripod with me!

We headed for Lithkill Dale where we walked along the river, there are lots of small waterfalls and weirs along the way with a larger one a few miles down the path.

It took lots of perseverance to get this shot as with was really quite bright so I struggled to get the WB just right. I was also running on low battery on my camera, a school girl mistake I know!

I finally got this shot using my polarised filter, not the best I know but the best I could get today.

Yesterday's blip which reached the spotlight was very much a serendipity moment, today's planned blip that I put a lot of work into not so!

After our walk we headed to Bakewell and purchased one of the famous Bakewell Puddings (not at all like Bakewell Tart) from the Original Bakewell Pudding Shop!
