Morning sun and proteas

Driving to Somerset West this morning, the winter sun had risen over the edge of the Kogelberg and was grazing across this slope.

The backlighting and haloes it caused on and around the fynbos and proteas was fantastic and made a chilly morning more than tolerable ;-)
