the baker
making Sunday bread in our new "bakery" - the carpenter found it very funny that the specifications for this part of the kitchen were that the work-surface was the right length for rolling out the "worms" to plait into bread and, of course, that the height was just right for me to knead dough.
Now the baker is reading the newspaper to her dad. For someone who can't read a simple story book, she's doing very well on a story about the politics of sending back asylum seekers to their first point of entry within the Schengen countries....
today I sawed up a lot of wood. Maybe I'll take the camera away from the kitchen tomorrow and show you some logs instead. But don't hold your breath. I'm enjoying the new views too much.
