A Ramblers Tale

Quibao

Alex and I went on an adventure to Quibao today, I am looking forward to going back and dressing a bit warmer, it was freezing! It was beautiful as you can see though, we were like two of only six foreigners that we actually saw there, for the most part everyone else was chinese. Which was different. Good but different. I suppose I should be getting used to being in the minority but sometimes I am used to touristyish places like that having all foreigners but we seem to have found a place where it was mostly chinese. Quite pretty too. I almost bought a miniature turtle as a pet. Alex wouldn't let me until we go to Hangzhou. He we really cute!!! Don't judge me lol.

We enjoyed our day, drank some amazing tea and just generally hung out. I got a really neat necklace that I will take pictures of eventually. Its a silver dragon holding a jade ball, he's rather pretty and quite appropriate for the the year of the dragon here in China. The New year is coming up soon and thats super fun, Shanghai is pretty crowded but what can you do? Now I am sitting and watching the Williams/ Arn math in the australian open, thinking of working on my chinese a bit.
