Chinese Doorway

I've always been fascinated by these, in many of the gardens here in China they have these doorways, round and I have to duck through them most of the time. Nonetheless, here is a picture.

I went for a walk through "The Royal Gardens" today near Zhongsan Park, its literally right down the street from where I am staying while I am still here in Shanghai, it was a lovely walk, albeit a little cold, but I just wanted some time to relax a bit. I saw many images and took a few images of things in China I love.

Old people sitting in the park arguing over maybe the weather, over maybe politics not 100% sure, but arguing and discussing the deeper meanings of life, usually the guys in one area and the girls in another. :) Makes me smile.

Another of my favorite images that I remember from when I was here last was that people would go to parks and fly kites, quite simply. I saw a big group of people doing that today and it made me happy. It was neat to see all the various kites and the fact that its almost a status symbol, the bigger the kite the better it was if you could get it up and fly it.
