Great first day with the bezzie!

Lauren is here!!!!

Not a great start..another terrible 2 hour bus journey feeling slightly worse for wear followed by being sick at the airport, but I was very very happy to see her!

We spent the day catching up, eating lots of food, including Lauren's first bit of argentine beef (which was a slight disapointment), seeing the main sights of Congreso, Casa Rosada, Puerto Madero, and having a lovely Strawberry Daiquiri to end the evening.

The pigeons joined us for most of the day, causing Lauren to slip and get covered in mud as she tried to creep up on them. She also experienced the culture of the argentine men with their obsession to comment - we even had one man run from a bar that we left because of the prices to offer us a free cocktail!

A great day was had with the highlight being standing on top of a 16 floor building at night see the whole city lit up :)
