Over the hills and far away

Evening all.

A good,busy productive day today,albeit one that rattled up the miles and baffled a student.

There seemed to be a lot of traffic and incidents on the road today, from failed lights in busy city centres to big scary police incidents in different busy city centres...

The lesson there being stay out of the city, one that i learnt and was able to heed whilst planning a lovely route out to Buxton and then a picturesque drive home this evening, just in time to get a shot of this lonely sentry guarding the bend in the road....

i was going to attempt another horse photo, but after yesterday's failure i wisely abandoned it. I think i'll stick to things that don't move much for a while.
