Warsaw Concerto
For years now we've been threatening to take Booky & K to London's most famous Polish restaurant. Their impending move to Croatia finally forced our hand, so we booked a table...
Daquise was opened in 1947 & became popular with members of the Government-in-Exile & other refugees from Soviet occupied Poland.
Recently it has been taken over by people who also have a successful restaurant in Warsaw, which has upset some of its more regular customers, as it has moved rather more up-market.
However, I'm happy to report you can still get a slap-up feed for a very fair price! Zachwycajacy! (I think...)
