Betelgeuse

I have watched Stargazing for the past three nights and despite only having a regular 200mm lens and a tripod, I thought I'd have a bash at photographing the night sky.

Orion is my favourite constellation. I pointed it out to my husband on our honeymoon so it has always had romantic connotations for me. Betelgeuse is up there. A red Giant. Dying. In fact, in the time it has taken the light to reach us, it might already be dead.

Wow.
