Revived

This rose was given to me this morning as part of a bouquet and unfortunately it was really flopped. I wrapped it in wet newspaper and put the stem underwater and cut it on the diagonal. By 8 pm it was fully revived. Time will tell if it continues to be OK. I have used this teqnique many times and the flower has to be completely encased in wet paper. The easiest way to do this is wrap it first then run it under the cold tap. Keep the stem under the water as you cut it. If small bubbles come up when you cut then cut it shorter. Hope it works for you if you try it.
