Monday morning

Usually Monday mornings are not my favorite, but this morning was lovely. We were all home, all happy, there was no fussing over clothes or hair or lost homework, no crises of any kind. She did manage a respectable outfit for a Monday, although the focus seemed to be the new camera.

She asked to take it to school. We asked why. She said "To take pictures". Duh. We said no. For now that seemed to generate only a small amount of disappointment.
