Christmas Day 2011

Due to a late night last night....Christmas morning got here quickly. :) Always something to look forward to though. The boys opened their stocking full of goodies like Baskin Robbins gift cards, ostrich pens, Spicy Lays chips, chocolates, etc. Then it was gift opening time. Loren's gift from Santa was a 1-yr. membership to Xbox Live, Liam's gift from Santa was a Moon Air Jack Pogo Stick and Landon's gift from Santa was Cruncher the dinosaur. I always like to record the gifts they've received because I like to look back over the years and remember the things my kids were 'into' in each stage. Other gifts included:

*Landon: Crayola Glow Book, Green Lantern Movie, Green Lantern ring and action figure, Angry Bird plush that talks, R/C helicopter, iTunes gift cards, Hot Wheels Nitro Speeders (micro R/Cs), a docking station for the iTouch, Just Dance 3 for the Wii, Moon in My Room & Halo action figures.

*Liam: Crayola Glow Book, iTunes gift cards, Lego City Creator House, Lego City Space Shuttle, Diary of a Wimpy Kid Books (The Ugly Truth & The Last Straw), homemade tie blanket w/soccer pattern, docking station for iTouch, money clip, Disney Universe for Wii and Police Car & Water Plane Legos.

*Loren: Nike slides for soccer, cash, Game Stop gift cards, FIFA 2012 for XBox, homemade tie blanket (teal/black), hoodie jacket, Minecraft tee, Modern Warfare 3, sleep pants & guitar stuff (pic holder, caution tape guitar strap, pics).

Then after our kiddos enjoyed opening their presents (these ones above were from our extended family and us since we draw names), Gary's fam and my parents headed over for Christmas brunch. Gary had a delicious breakfast burrito bar set up, Gary Sr. brought some coffee cake, and my parents a watermelon boat full of yummy fruit. Don't forget the hot cider, coffee and that rotten stuff called Egg Nog. haha

We spent the rest of the day hanging out with the family, trying out new toys and just relaxing. Poor Loren started Christmas morning with the stomach flu, so he spent Christmas sick. :( Hopefully just a 24 hour bug, since he ended up starting to feel better at the end of the day.
