Don't panic.

What a night. Sometimes I am certain I'm just not meant to sleep.

Around 3am I got up and looked out of the window and saw smoke. I called the fire brigade who came out to see to it. Then they drove down my road so I went out to them. I wasn't sure if they'd found where the smoke was coming from and I started to tell them where it was, round the back and over to the side roads somewhere.
They then told me that it was ok, it turned out to be a steam vent at a community centre.

This is a photo I took just in case it had all vanished by the time they arrived on the scene in case nobody believed me.

Took ages to get to sleep and I slept late today as a result but I'm glad it turned out to be ok.
