Sun, style, stigma and sex

It's been a beautiful sunny chilly day today. We went for a brief sunset walk this evening and my ears are still burning 2 + hours later.

I'm just remembering my school biology lessons suddenly. It's all about sex isn't it. It looks pretty sexy to me. I'm glad I photographed this lily in the sunshine. I'm sitting next to it now and it looks pretty sad and dull under the electric light.

I've haven't edited other than cropping.

Can't really remember much that happened today other than both teens came back absolutely shattered from sleepovers and Tess went to a birthday party.
So I got a couple of hours to myself pratting around making valuable use of my time.

Talking of sex and reproduction, I'm looking forward to the new TV serial about midwives (Call the Midwife) that's starting on BBC 1 tonight. It looks good - I hope it is...
