Pennant

This morning involved the boys presenting the Stanford pennant to our school during the Friday Town Hall Assembly. Landon doesn't like to talk in front of a crowd, so the principal and Liam did the talking. :) They presented the banner at the end and off I ran for an emergency shoe run. Yes, Landon's velcro broke right before going to Town Hall. So off I ran to Payless and came back to the school hoping the new sized 2 Spongebob tennis shoes fit his feet. When I walked into the room he wasn't expecting me and said the cutest thing "Oh mom, new shoes? THANK YOU!" Tried them on him while he was doing center work and his desk mate said to him "Wow Landon....now you're going to be able to run even faster!!!!" I think it's so cute how every time a kid gets new shoes, they think their speed increases.
