The Anglo-american Kitchen

So tonight it's my turn to cook and I am mid-way through creating a cross between a Gordon Ramsay (too rich) and a Delia Smith (too bland) fish pie.

My home made fish poaching broth is in the jug. My poached salmon, tilapia and shrimp are on the plate with some smoked salmon that's left over from Christmas. I have potatoes boiling in the saucepan and leeks sweating in the frying pan.

A nice pair of patriotic oven gloves also seem to have made their way into the photo. ;)
