Sian

I shot this picture for a website called 'someone once told me' spending a lovely afternoon with Sian in and around her studio in Hackney.

Getting there however was a bit of a trial and I ended up suffering from road rage for I think the first time ever.

Sian is a painter who completely understand the necessity to leave behind your former life in order to do what you love.

The person who told her to be kind to her mother was her uncle, who is a psychiatrist (so he should know... I suppose).

Sians mother died quite recently. Her picture (on the wall) was painted by Sians father.
