Snowman Project

Today was pretty uneventful because it was time to get Christmas/Birthday thank you notes complete as well as help Liam with his snowman project. He was given a certain amount ($25) to spend on his snowman (virtual dollars) as well as dollar amounts for each item that goes on the snowman as well as weight for each item (it couldn't weigh more than 50 lbs.). He listed the items and dollar/weight totals and began drawing it based on what items he was using. When he was all done, he had to write a "sales pitch" that had to include certain information so that he could present it in class and hope his 'virtual' audience will buy it! He named his snowman 'Brrrrrr-ian'. I was glad he got it completed, since projects become a bit of a battle in this house. I thought he did a great job with the drawing and stayed within the cost and weight provided!

Tonight was soccer practice for Loren and while at soccer Landon said something funny:

"Mom, we need a girl baby because we don't have any girls in our family. Well, you're a girl but you don't count because you're the mom."----Landon

"Nah...I'm good."
