706/365 Here comes the Sprummer*!
We had an episode of lovely strong winter sunlight today in Belfast. It was glorious.
Mrs P and I had to go to Belfast for a few chores this morning and of course, I brought my camera. My Blip shot shows Royal Avenue in the centre of town with the newest addition to Belfast's Modern Art collection, the long pointy things that each represent the prows of the large ships built in the Belfast Shipyards at the start of the last century, including Titanic and her sister ships, Olympic and Britannic, along with a few more. The outline of the City Hall can be seen in the distance. They've been placed there obviously just in time for the anniversary of the launch of the Titanic and her subsequent demise in the Atlantic a few weeks later. We're expecting thousands of tourists over the coming months so expect some exotic and Titanic-related Blips! I was having a chat with an elderly customer a few days ago and in his opinion, we should be celebrating a ship that *didn't* sink. Fair point!
