Last Lift

There is nothing better than catching the last lift to the top of the mountain at the end of the day, and skiing down an empty run in the fading light.

Then adjourning to a cafe for a hot chocolate, or something a little stronger, to mull over a grand day out.

Dinner out this evening, we had pierrade - also known as hot rock. You cook small pieces of meat at the table on a flat stone that has been pre-heated. Delicious.
On the way back we stopped for beers and shots including jagerbombs -

If you look at the bottom of the image you can see the depth of snow against the road sign - over two metres of snow in 48 hours.
