Shadow branches

I seemed to be busy all day - went to local history group, mended the Dyson, caught up with a friend etc - and did not get out with the camera until sunset - and there is no good view from the garden.

I took a number of shots, none of them much good, so I've gone for the 'creative' tag. Fortunately I have just discovered the tripod - missing since we moved, so I shall have, reluctantly, to start using it.

I was using my new zoom lens, at 300mm. I think it is this that gave the 'shadow' effect. That and camera shake!
