Cormorants in the Sun
I nipped along to the sea for a quick walk after dropping off the boys at school, and before the shops opened. Was thrilled to see so many birds on the one rock. They were joined later by 6 turnstones, which I've not seen on rocks before. They usually run along at the shoreline turning over small stones and seaweed looking for food, piping all the while.
Now I've baked the bread and fed the animals. I'm trying to ignore those corners in the house where the mildew is getting the upper hand; I'll wage war on that at a later date.
Colm is going to be one happy boy this evening. At almost 18 I felt it was time that he had his own laptop, so instead of paying the full price before Christmas we waited for the sales. The courrier phoned me earlier for directions.
