Seals

They are there , really. I counted 19, mostly basking in the non-sunshine on the little rock on the right, behind the gorse bush, a few swimming,a few on the rock further out. They are almost always there, in the bay in Glengarriff harbour.

I went there this morning to collect my 2 wwoofers ( that stands for worldwide workers on organic farms, it's a volunteering organisation). It 's great to have the extra help . The girl , Maika, is keen to learn how to spin wool, and she's happily discovering the basics on my little spinning wheel in the kitchen while I'm writing this. I love the whirring noise it makes.

I've just finished another good book -Out Stealing Horses by Per Petterson,if any one is interested.

Colm is very happy with the new laptop, of course.
