A bit of a long day today: into work at the crack of dawn to get a space in the car park, meeting all morning followed by a two hour meeting over lunch and then drove up to see my parents for the evening, finally getting back home at 9pm. Exhausting, but I did have a delicious tandoori paneer salad from Tamatanga for lunch and my Mum's fish pie for dinner, and the use of a domestic washing machine which is a real treat these days. Nice to catch up with just the three of us, it doesn't happen very often. Oh and this is me in my Mum's kitchen.

Self levelling screed went down on the concrete slab in the kitchen today too, ready for the final floor covering later this week. Keep going Chris! You're doing a truly amazing job!
