Sweet Child of Mine

Belt up

Elizabeth loves her first belt.

Busy day today. Music class in the morning. None of the children really took part as much as usual today, Elizabeth included. I think it's because it's the first session after a break. It'll probably just take another session to get them back into the swing of things.

Rebecca decided she wanted to watch what was going on at the class, but she obviously got tired of it (or just tired) because she fell asleep quickly and even loud banging of drums didn't wake her.

Back at home I was on my feet for 3 hours non-stop running between the girls. Rebecca wanted to sleep, but kept waking every 10 minutes, and Elizabeth needed lunch. I was quite glad to get us all packed up and in the car for Little Explorers in the afternoon. I got to sit down for nearly an hour! Although I was feeding Rebecca for 20 minutes of that.

Elizabeth played quite quietly today. She found a toy with little pegs that you could slot into holes and she played with it for ages. She also took a doll away from the baby toys, put it in a lid so it was like being in a cot, and then she brought it lots of toys. And she talked to a mummy who had 4 month old twins, asking about the twins dummies.

She's teething, which is probably why she's a little out of sorts. It also explains the cold she had last week. We are also getting lots of drool, hands in the mouth constantly and awful nappies. Unfortunately it could be a long while before the teeth actually come through.

Meanwhile, Rebecca's been reaching out for toys a lot more today and she's loving holding hands. Elizabeth was holding her hand too for a while, which was very cute! No camera unfortunately.
