Bin day

This is no.2 son, who had climbed on the sofa to watch the bin men. Notice how he trembles when he realises he's been caught on the sofa. Definitely no discipline problem in the CleanSlate household then!!

Fairly quite day here. Other than a quick trip into Manchester this morning to deliver a shirt to a sheepish Mr CleanSlate, who had managed to cycle to work without one! (It reminded me a bit of when David Cameron was caught cycling to work, being followed by his chauffeur with all his papers/clothes etc!) Still, he's been doing it for 3 years and it's only the second time I've had to go in and I KNOW if it were me, it would be considerably more ;-)

Speech therapist and SEN appointment this afternoon. They came in with an extra student and riled up no.2, then proceeded to ask whether his attention span is always so short. Honestly. They're usually a lot more clued up than that, so I guess everyone's allowed an 'off day'.

On the up side - flapjacks for pudding :-) Yum yum yum
