It had to be a ladybird

Of all the photos I have taken during the last two years, I think the ladybirds have attracted the most attention.

I am blessed to have a sheltered, walled garden with a number of plants that have offered them a place to hide, and interest. My solo ladybird holds court in the bamboo, behind the bird table. This steadfast group lounge upside down in the sage - and the biggest colony remains among the spikes in the monkey puzzle.

Thank you everyone for the encouragement and friendship you have given me over the last two wonderful years.
