The Future

Today's blip might have been more appropriate for New Year's Day as its of a sculpture bearing the inscription "The Future Is Yet To Be Written". However, as this is the first day back at work in the New Year for many people, I thought it was still apt.

The sculpture is situated in a new park built on the banks of the Clyde behind Renfrew and near to Braehead. I had gone down to the Clyde as the sun was out for a change and I hoped to get a blip of the river. However, I was drawn to the sculpture as it was silhouetted against the sky.

On a somewhat ironic note, it would appear that for the sculpture the future has already been written as it is daubed with graffiti!
