.....Mary had a little lamb......

...and we ate it!

The Daughter bought herself a cook book....she announced yesterday that she was going to make this for Sunday dinner.....she went out and bought all the ingredients we didn't already have....and today she cooked it........Rioja-briased lamb shanks with chorizo and garlic (and carrots, onion and mashed potato)....and it was fantastic.

Considering I have to go back to work tomorrow I'm feeling quite chirpy.....maybe it's because:
1. I went fishing this morning and it didn't rain.....much....and I caught the first fish of the year.
2. United beat the noisy neighbours....didn't hang on to that trophy for long.
3. I'm full of lamb.
4. I'm just such a cheery character.

It could all change in the next few hours if I lose at cards tonight....and it'll certainly be different at 6.45 in the morning when I get up for work.
