Car boot challenge.
I was looking forward to it being a fine day, so I could go out and banish my photo free days. Alas, ille pleurait, or is it pleuvait? Anyway, merde. So we took a look at the local indoor car boot. It was bristling with bloated looking bargain hunters, present company excepted of course. She who must be obeyed, spotted a really good leather two seater settee. Regretably, some earlier bargain hunter had bagged it, along with a single chair. I'm really not too bothered, as my chair, kindly donated by my sister, after my hip op, more than serves it's purpose. I must confess, it is a little narrow in the beam, but was it ever thus. Am I the only one who discovers that when we return from holiday, the airlines, in a bid to squash more people in, reduce the amount of space between seats, so that you can't get the food tray down, and you lose even more of the delicious fare on the aeroplane floor. This little beauty was the princely sum of £1. It will serve a s a good diversion for our three toddler grandchildren. Layla was the first to sample this and as soon as she got through the door, spotted the colourful bricks, whipped her dummy out, and proceded to promenade around the lounge, proudly pushing her new found toy. I must confess, I spent a few precious moments, arranging(playing) with the blocks, in order to enhance their appeal. Great find.
Adios.
