Happy New Year!

A lovely walk along a windswept promenade today. Stayed dry and lots of blue sky. The walk took us back past Senhouse Roman Museum which amazingly was open today and great value at only £3 each. I'm not big on museums but it is incredible how so many artifacts have survived for so many years - to provide us with history we can see and touch.

A walk back to the harbour just as the stunning light provided us with so many wonderful photo opportunities. This is the harbour which our apartment overlooks (on the right). Such a stunning place. Not seen much action from the fishing boats yet with the bank holiday - but hoping to see them returning with their catch before we leave.
