Nothings ever easy

A wee trip to Glenrothes today to get all our paperwork for our wedding done.

We were well assured by the helpful people in the Edinburgh office that all we have to take is our original birth certificates.

So on arrival the first question is.

Do you have an appointment? - No - Oh! We are fully booked for today, you need an appointment.
When's your wedding? 6 weeks - Oh N0!
Ok what is your postcode I'll try book you in as soon as possible?
G42 bla bla bla - That's not in Fife is it? erm no Glasgow.
Are you just through for today?
Yes! - You really need an appointment but I'll see what I can do.

We got seen within half an hour and all the paper work done, dusted and paid for within the hour.

So this is a big thank you to the kind people of Glenrothes registrar office for squeezing us in when they really didn't have too.

Shame on you Edinburgh branch!
