NO, NO, NO

This is not what I ordered.

I ordered clear skies and no wind....................

Our friends funeral is today.
I put in an order for clear skies and calm air in good time.

She wants it to be a day of good memories and laughter --- she will get that
She wants colour not all black --- she will get that.
She wants her husband to throw himself on her funeral pyre --- I can't see her getting that.

What she will be getting is a guard of honour from her friends in the Girl Guiding community ...... as she did when she got married.



As I type this the clouds are clearing and I can see blue skies moving in and the wind is dropping................................

PLEASE - 3 hours ...........that is all I ask.

The weather was clear and dry with very little wind.
The crematorium was full to the gunwhales.
Tears and laughter
A wonderful eulogy from her younger daughter.
Drink and remembering after.
A good day - as far as such a day can be good
