Justice

Two men were today sentenced for the vicious racist murder of Stephen Lawrence in London, in April 1993. Gary Dobson and David Norris were sentenced to life imprisonment, with minimum terms of 15 years 2 months and 14 years 3 months respectively. Because they were both aged under 18 at the time of the murder, they were sentenced under guidelines in place at the time of the attack.
