Gone With The Wind.


What a night - and day! Saw no end of fallen trees as we were out and about, one right across the main road in front of us. We even heard a lengthy 'fallen tree report' on the local radio which I had never noticed happening before. We have had huge trees in our garden topple over in the wind in the past so it was a bit worrying for a while. It was especially sad to hear that two people had died.

Thankfully, unlike so many who are still trying to cope with the aftermath, the only damage I could see was to our neighbour's bird table which, of course, doesn't matter.

And as you can see, it takes more than a near-hurricane to put off the blue tits!
