Anniversary Sky

We celebrated our 41st anniversary today and it began being greeted by a blaze of color as we left our house. We stepped out front and Big R said to look at the sky! It was just ablaze in color and so I grabbed my camera and clicked! I'd intended to go drive off to a get a better view of it but decided it would be gone in a few seconds. I'm glad I caught it when I did because it was gone very quickly. We were off to the gym early and then , hooligans in the back, we drove up north to enjoy the countryside there.

We ate breakfast at a funky Everett cafe and then headed up to our favorite Fairhaven bookstore near Bellingham. Also the hooligans got to explore a new off leash park up in that area. It was extremely windy today and Cowboy's fur was blowing all over! It was even hard to open our car doors. We returned via the beautiful Chuckanut drive and then had dinner at a new favorite Mexican restautant in Mill Creek called Fridas.

Now home and Big R is watching the Helen Mirren Prime Suspect series. Tomorrow the reality of returning to work for us both after a couple weeks off comes all too soon!
