Phoney!

Felt well enough to leave my bed and walk Dilly with the boys.

I often see people with tennis balls on the end of what looks like an insect's proboscis enabling them to throw the ball prodigious distances for their dog to retrieve.

Dilly doesn't do the 'fetch' thing. Sure he'll chase a ball when thrown, but we guess he thinks it's a race, for once he passes the ball, he's won, and simply leaves the loser to wallow in it's own self worthlessness.

So this shot is a rarity. You may be fooled into thinking he's a bright dog playing ball with his owners, but you'd be wrong. The length of time this ball remained in his mouth was just about long enough for my shutter to release and capture the moment. It's the sort of shot he'd want to use on his facebook page (if he had one) to convince his friends he was indeed an intelligent dog.

Don't be fooled. He's a phoney!
