Change of plans...

We had a late night text from Tom that he wouldn't make it out of the restaurant in time to see in the New Year with us. So we packed ourselves up and took the mountain to Mohamed!

We arrived with about 6 minutes to spare and surprised him. I think he was happy! B downed a bottle of champagne ...almost singled-handedly! We popped party poppers and sand Auld langs Syne....well the bits we knew anyway. This is definitely going to be a good year especially for Tom and Emma.

The rest of the day I spend in bed with the worst cold I can remember having, one where every sneeze or cough exploded in my head. Not the most auspicious start to a New Year, and very unusual for me. I'm not that susceptible to colds in truth. After this one though, I may be a little more tolerant of others who suffer from them. Then again....
