Warm sunshine today put me in a mood for surrealism. This picture shows part of a recent controversy over a search for a new cemetery site. It reminded me of Rene Magritte's "Ceci n'est pas une pipe" which was a painting of a pipe below which the words "Ceci n'est pas une pipe" appeared. He meant that the painting of a pipe was not itself a pipe but merely a two dimensional representation of a pipe. So my blip today is not a sign saying that the field is not the proposed cemetery site but merely a photograph which shows an image of such a sign. Or something like that.
