The Christmas Phenomenon

A really interesting thing happens every year at Christmas. Namely, it seems like there are all sorts of articles that have Scottie Dogs on them!

When we visited at the home of friends the other day, my friend gave me this tiny Scottie sweater! The sweater was sold as a cover for a gift card to one of the mall stores! My friend thought it might be cute hanging on the tree, especially with its tiny silver hanger.

I have often wondered *why* Scotties become popular at Christmas and the only thing I can imagine is the fact that they have such a distinct profile that lends itself to some pretty cute appliques on clothing and such. Add to that the fact that Scotties look very wonderful with the color red, and, well.....

I always have fun after Christmas when I can find great deals on goodies bedecked with my favorite breed!
