young and old brought together by technology

Well the 1st day of 2012 has been just perfect.
We spent the day with my Mum and Dad (who live next door). We had a lovely family meal, Mums home made steak pie.
It doesn't matter that I've been married for 20yrs now, I still get that contented feeling of being at my real home when we have dinner at their house.

In this photo my 19yr old daughter is showing my 64yr old Dad an app on her iphone. It's good that he has kept up with technology as it seems to be the only way to connect with my kids generation. They seem to always have a phone in their hands these days!

If every day this year is as good as this one, I will be a happy lady....
