My stomping ground

Rather surprisingly i woke relatively clear headed but fancied a quick burst of fresh air before working a late shift at the birth unit. The canal is literally 2 minutes down the road and so i did the 20 minute loop i used to walk with my dog. A quiet shift followed with no New Year babies to celebrate, but came home for roast ham, egg and chips...mmm. oh...and a couple of glasses of wine. :-)
