the hardest button to button
...isn't this one at all, it's the one that's just fallen off my jacket, bah. the mending pile is growing apace and the ironing pile is a foot high - how much do i need a day off to deal with all the chores! too knackered when i come home after work right now to do more than lounge on the sofa and read or noodle around on the net. not got a day off til a week today, it'll have to wait. (have to defrost the freezer, too, i can't get it open and there's stuff in it that i want!)
nipped home at lunchtime thinking to start the ironing and instead pottered in the back yard, thinning the spring onions and pak choi, slugpelleting with abandon and scoffing a few radishes - and bethought myself to tackle the rose colour problem noted back here.
i've never really done anything with the manual settings on the camera to be honest, the auto and scenes generally give me good things and to be frank i'm a lazy bugger when it comes to things that involved practice and fiddling. however, today i had a quick fiddle and, a couple of f-stops later, i got a red rose! i shall fiddle some more and show off the fruits (flowers) of my labour in due course.
