One O'Clock Gun

Whilst waiting for the gun, he exclaimed "Daddy look at how many toilets there are!"

That's them lined up in the middle of Castle Street in the lower right, waiting for the gallons of urine to fill them up.

The town was very busy today, presumably with visting revellers looking for somewhere to while away the hours until the bells. Is it too early to start on the bevvy at 3pm? Obviously not going by the groups in the Rutland we passed.

There were a few Primal Scream diehards milling about, if I wasn't otherwise engaged being a Daddy I'd be standing at the back with the other greyhaired fans (probably). There were some soundchecks from the Ross Bandstand early in the afternoon...

Along the castle ramparts were the thoosands of fireworks ready to be set off tonight. A veritable armory.
