Gorgeous scenery

Great day - had a slow morning, breakfast at Community Kitchen, then off to a day of tasting. We hit up Beaux Freres, Patricia Green and Lachini. Julia knows the owner, so we got the royal treatment when we got there. After the tasting we were given a nice bottle of rose to enjoy while we sat out and looked over the rolling valley and hills. It was an absolutely stunning view.

Got back home and Julia made a delightful stew topped off with a gorgeous cornichon creme fraiche and I made a salad with greens, apples, toasted walnuts and stilton. And of course lots of wine.
