Amelie and I had Rose over to play today whilst her Mum went to an appointment. The girls had fun although they were a little territorial/fighty at times. And at other times they were the best of friends - joining forces to make as much mess as possible, faster than I could tidy. I don't really mind a bit of a mess but I would rather it was one toy at a time (or two, if there is two of them). What I can't handle is things being pulled out and immediately abandoned...which is what happened when they decided to empty a bookcase (onto each other).

They had lunch together and Rose ate almost everything whilst Amelie hardly touched hers (the opposite of what happened at the last lunch they shared). Amelie had been moaning again about being hungry prior to this so that was a little annoying. She took her hunger to a new level this morning by requesting dinner immediately after her breakfast at 9 o clock...

Amelie was pretty exhausted by the time Rose and Louise left and fell asleep several times during dinner (which was at 4.30!) She's perked up a little now and is settled down to watch the Night Garden with her milk. Bed very soon I think!
